Coperaco Natural Reserve
In the heart of Nicaragua, an estate of our own — four exclusive varieties, grown, harvested and stewarded by Coperaco.
A story of a dream, friendship & perseverance.
Our estate in Nicaragua is, above all, a primary forest — the great majority of the parcel, which we preserve and protect. Within it, at altitude and amid extraordinary biodiversity, we cultivate four exclusive varieties with meticulous stewardship.
We know precisely where each coffee comes from, how it is grown, and its impact on the ecosystem.
Beyond any certification, we privilege direct relationships and a fine knowledge of the land.
Stewardship, by the numbers.
A dream, born of a simple encounter.
In the heart of Nicaragua's Datanlí, spanning 5,000 hectares of natural reserve, a simple encounter marked the beginning of something remarkable. In 2010, when Johan Pesenti first met Félix — a land guardian born and raised among its forests — he sensed the profound potential of this untouched territory.
It was Félix, together with his son, who transformed that vision into reality — planting and nurturing rare coffee varieties while preserving the environment around them. Today, every bean from this land carries their story.
Seven micro-lots, each its own story.
The farm is divided into seven micro-lots, each named by Félix and Johan to reflect their stories.

Toward competitions of excellence.
The unique profiles emerging from these micro-lots are already revealing the potential for international acclaim.
